I did an online course during isolation and am so glad I did! My world has been opened up to candle-making. The course covers many types of candles and the live workshop was fantastic - I felt like I was in the actual studio with Sarah!

I have just returned home after the course I attended this morning with Sarah. One word - Superb! She made the morning fly by and I cannot believe how many candles we actually made. She was clear in her explanations of all the processes and within 15 -30mins we had made our first candle. I am now hooked with a capital H!!

I have been on a few Candle by Events courses now and have loved them all. I went on the beginner course, intermediate course and the Christmas one. Sarah is a great teacher and always available for talking through any mishaps I have made after the course. She makes you feel relaxed and comfortable during the courses and always makes sure the information is relevant for those in the room and is a truly encouraging and supportive teacher. I would definitely recommend the array of courses she offers... I will keep attending them as I always learn something new.

This has to be the best course I’ve done this year. Sarah is extremely helpful and clear, she makes it so easy! I came away with a goody bag full of candles, some of which have been given as presents already. I highly recommend this course to anyone with a wish to make candles. I went on the beginners course in mid-December - a treat to myself and a friend. I cannot recommend this highly enough - well paced, informative, relaxing, rewarding. Sarah is warm and encouraging. I absolutely loved this candle making course. I came home relaxed, informed and motivated. Sarah took the time to explain everything properly and ran the course brilliantly. We made five different types of candles and got to take everything home. The classes are small which made for a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. It was great value and I'd definitely do it again!

I thoroughly enjoyed the course and felt that Sarah kept the pace of instructions and demonstrations perfectly in a relaxed atmosphere. Following the course, Sarah took the time to email photographs from the day together with an informative candle making guide including a list of suppliers for materials and equipment.
